Download Manager help.

I recently switched to smf adding TP I am slowly getting the hang of it but still having some issues.

The download manager I've created the categories I need. Now comes the problem. I already ftp'd the files to my server (/storage/category/file) how can I add them to the download section? Uploading is not an option as some files are close to 50mb. Also there is quite a few. I know I could create a link in the description but this would defeat the purpose of the download button. Any suggestions on our to get this to work would be great.

use the ftp program and drag and drop to the TP downloads folder
