How do you make a block that displays the results of a pool from a post. And allows you to vote in that same poll without actually looking at that poll?

Use the 1.1RC3 instructions.  It should work for 1.1.1 as well.

I verified.  The SMF 1.1 and 1.1.1 code for this area is identical to that of 1.1RC3, and tests fine in both.
