kicking smf karma

how about add a reputation system to tp V 1.0 which can beat karma. this can be like the one in php. u can give postive and negative reps.admin can change the number of points each rep contains which different membergroup.and the amount of stars they get for reps.and they can have a link in the profile as " Reputation manger" which will show them the last 10 or twenty reps given to them and the reason/ comment.

u click on the weight machine thing and it takes you to another page

here you can enter you comment and give postive or negative.

here the user can see the rep he got and gave and the reasons
if u guys like the idea i will put up more images and infos.

Well the Karma system can be modified to just what you would like it to do. Just a simple tweak and some theme editing.

yea and if is a module on TP like the shoutbox, it another + point for us. well any coders here?

there are many coders here but i dont know if it would be part of TP because new rep system would be a forum mod

and TP is already a mod by itself

so even if someone at TP develops one, it would still have to be a mod for SMF to begin with since it deals directly with forum instead of portal functions

ive been asking for 1 year with no luck lol

at SMF they flatly refused insisting to use karma
