Hello everyone :). Had smf 1.1.1 installed and then without checking too much I tried to install tp97. got the corrupt thing and edited the xml file with 1.1.1 in 2 places and thought I zipped it back up. Tried tio install via package manage and everything checked out and was suppposedly till I tried to open the site and could not.forget what it said :idiot2: went into filezilla and uploaded all the extracted files to the root directory and now the site works.

This is the wrong place for the files to be right.  shouldn't they be in the packages directory. :uglystupid2:

If so should I just start over from scratc since it is not modded at all just smf 1.1.1and tp0.9.7

If you're site is working fine, why fix it if it ain't broke? ;)
Not sure what you mean by where you put the files. Which files? the manual files? or the pre-made files from G6?

If your forum is working fine I would continue on SuperQ.

Seem the enclosed pics

this is 2 shots to get the whole public_html directory and 1 of the packages directory. I just uploaded the tpzip to the packages directory just sitting there--why I don't know except for the fact that the package manager seems to look like it should with it there. When tp.zip is not there I cannot see uninstall or list files.

Gotta make something decent this time. Gotta get it right for your sake :2funny:You don't got the time

Ah yes, you can delete the TP files from there. :) Basically from the tinyportal065-09x-11.mod on down you can delete the files. And the mod instruction files if you want.

superQ

As soon as I work up the balls :o or make a backup--whichever comes first he he...

So If I delete those files all the other ones belong in that public_html directory, I mean if they were installed via the package manager it would have put them there and not put all the ones that I can delete[because it knows better]...does that make sense. It does to me, but I am superQ and it is late.

IchBin

SMF would not have put them there. It would no better yes. But of course, make a backup. :)
