Hello Everybody,
Currently i know 3 good Social networking scripts.
Which of the three would you vote for.

phpFOX : http://phpfox.com
Many use this script and it comes with many inbuilt themes.
But i feel this is a bit unprofessional.

Handshakes : http://dzoic.com
Few use it. Though it comes in only 2 themes, it is very professiosnal and i love it.

PHPizabi : http://www.phpizabi.net/
This made a revolution in Social networking by releasing the script for free.
Perhaps it is the first free script of its type.

I vote for Handshakes

I would definately NOT use PHPizabi and the reason I say this is because I used it a while back and out of the blue the script stopped working!

When I approached the support there was none! After days of asking the same Question again and again on their forum (along 100's of other people), guess what? They close their support forum with a notice that says "due to time constraints of working on the software, we cannot take any support queries"

So whatever u do dont go with them :P
Unless they are under new management.

The rest I dont know

Oh !
I didn't know that. But i often felt that it would be beter if they had a demo.

;) Wish it comes under my management.

Their software was good when I used it thats for sure. But it requires the installation of some sort of 'core' software (done internally), that was the cause of why it stopped working since its license expired or something and they werent expecting that.

But either ways you can imagine that after advertising it on 6 or 7 forums I frequently visit and getting about 45+ members in 1 month, boom it goes. It was really embarasing for me and I am sure some people must have been put off my site totally.

So just a word of caution, though maybe by this time they have improved greatly? So be sure to try it out if possible as a demo.

what exactly are these? one demo, handshakes, kinda looked like a myspace knockoff that you integrate your forum into but not sure. interesting though.

All these are scripts similar to Myspace.
