TP version: 0.9.6 beta (The latest one I found in downloads section*)
SMF Version: 1.1 RC3
Theme: SMF default

Allright, left and right panels are set to active. (State On)
"Hide left panel when in forum" and "Hide right panel when in forum" are also set to state On
But in this state, the panels hide both in forum and in frontpage. (When it should hide only in forum, not in frontpage)

When "hide left/right panel when in forum" is set to state Off, then it shows both in forum and in frontpage.
Ok, what I want to do is very simple and easy: Show the panels only in frontpage. Hide when in forum.
Those settings are meant to do this job but they actually dont.

I also tried changing "What to show on frontpage" settings, but none of them seem to do what I need.

So what to do?

* A little note about versions; The news board says TP 0.9.6 is released but why is it still "beta" ?
And the frontpage of site site says "TinyPortal 0.9.7" it also has a download button near it, which is not hyperlinked.
Whats going on... :s Brrr

I cant answer the first bit... but I can help with the last:

TP version 0.9.6 IS beta (all TP versions so far have been) as they are working towards V1, which will be the first stable release. That being said, it isnt a beta as in the sort of beta that MS or someone would release (and extrememly unstable). 0.9.7 should be available soon, so this site has been changed in preperation for its release. It is currently unavailable to the public though.

Download the TPortal.php file from page 12 or 13 in the TP 0.9.6 thread and replace your current one. That will fix your problems.
