From MyIBPortal via Joomla! to TP

Yes, I know, I posted before about the smooth way I managed to get my community from Joomlaq! - SMF to TP.

But I did it again. Migrated another community in the past weeks and all is well. This time I'm not the owner but just web master and next week I will propose the board to ask bloc for a tailor-made template for our Dutch medieval combat guild. 

2 business sites are running plain vanilla Joomla! and in the past months many. many patches have been issued. Patch 1.57 ... The bad thing about Joomla! is that patching is a burden with many add-ons and plug-ins. Not to mention the fact that patching is the old FTP-upload routine since they haven't got what SMF has.

And then something very nasty. The attitude and arrogance of the Joomla! experts. You guys at TP are really cuddly cuties compared to the ice-cold ignorance a super-user like I sense over there.

So, with a feet in both worlds ... I became a true TPA!

To be fair though.. We do tell each other off at times and discuss our methods. That translates well throughout the board.

Wish I had, sorry I haven't. Used copy/paste   And uploaded pdf-documents into new file repository.
