Permission on menu links

i would like to add permission to the menu link depending on the link not the whole block.  Like lets say i have
Projects
     TinyPortal
     betatester?
     Button-generators
  Themes
     Free themes
     Paid themes
  Articles
     PHP in articles

i want to make button-generators visible to certain groups.

uhm, permission one each link...that I am not sure of, but articles/categories should have it. Otherwise someone could just open directly the link to the page anyway.

OIC but the page itself can havepermission check.  I could add an is_allowed check to see access.
