I used the package installer to load up tp. From there i clicked apply mod. I then says :

2: mkdir() [<a href='function.mkdir'>function.mkdir</a>]: No such file or directory
File: /home/tavis/Sources/Subs-Package.php
Line: 413

I havn't got a clue what to do here   :uglystupid2:

One of the most common errors we have from the package manager.
It's a permission error, so you have to manually install TinyPortal to your forum.

If you look as some of the threads in this board (Installation) you have the exact steps on how to do it, and it takes about 10-15 min to have TP up and running.

I installed TP using manual install. Worked great , for awhile then i went to install a theme. I then got the error again.

2: mkdir() [<a href='function.mkdir'>function.mkdir</a>]: No such file or directory
File: /home/tavis/Sources/Subs-Package.php
Line: 413

Now i cant upload any new themes !
SMF and TP don't like me

The very same thing again, your host doesent alowe you to be the owner of the files you send through SMF package manager.
Eather you talk yo your host and ask them to change the permissions for you, or you have to manually add in all the things you want with an FTP program.

When you install themes, you have to extract the theme on your local PC, and then open up your forum and Themesfolder from FTP and create a folder with the theme name to it, then upload all the theme files manually to that folder, then go in to your forum admin and manually type in the name of the theme folder you created and then install new theme.
That way you will be the owner of the files and not the server you are on.
