Let me clarfiy some thing sto help clear confusion and repeated questions.

Bloc hand picks his alpha testers(mostly php & theme gurus), and beta testing is open to everyone already here.

Alpha testers do not get to test every version of TP. Beta testers do not get to test every version that the alpha testers test.

For example: v0.9.1 is out, that does not mean the alpha team will get to test it. We may have to wait for 0.9.2. We alpha team tests 0.9.2, that does not mean the beta testers will get to test it. they may have to wait for a more stable version such as 0.9.3. These are just examples. It is soley up to Bloc...

More stable versions go to the beta team.

The essential element of being a tester is to feed back to Bloc information about how it works and what the problems are. It shouldn't be seen as way of getting your hands on the latest version.
