Friends, i am very very new to tinyportal. I have been an avid php-nuke user for almost 8 years and it seems like the right time to try something new. I have a few questions before i try to  install it live. What are the forum choices t integrate with tinyportal ? Are themes hard to create ? Just how big is the community, abundant support sites etc ? Thanksfor the resources you guys provide and i hope to become a useful member in time.

Welcome to TinyPortal

TinyPortal currently only works with SMF 1.1.* version of forum software, Simple Machines Forums. Link in the footer of the site. It does not currently work with SMF 2. It doesn't work with any other platform at all.

Themes, well some are very nice and depends upon your skill level as a designer. I'm no theme designer, but I have no trouble editing templates and am likely to make a leap and release at least one theme.. when I get around to it.
