Hello,

I have created a sub domain for a test site so that I can test upgrades and installs before going live with them.  I installed the same version of SMF that I currently am running on the live site (SMF 1.1.4) and when I go to install TP 0.9.8 it gives me errors on the test and I have noticed that it wants to install to my home directory instead of the test.  Any ideas?

Thank you in advance!

Dont you have a separate database for your subdomain ?, you need to have them compleatly apart

Yes I have a seperate database created for my forum and copied my backup into it which brought the the test forum up...

Then the paths in the database have to be changed, they are pointing to your old url.
SMF holds the info about the repairsettings.php file and how to use it.
