I've had this issue before too, I followed the fix and it worked fo rme.

its something to do with adding manually the membergroup numbers to a file for smf in the flashchat folder

its in this topic mentioned along with codes and all

How many membergroups do you have WSA.

it was awhile back when I done it, but it seems like I had to only fix one line of code in 2 files.
