i a m using smf 1.1.8 version and tinyportal 1.0 as far as i am concerned.

My DOWNLOAD MANAGER is not that moderen,I want something like this.
If you dont mind can u have a look at it ??

It really looks good and easy to find out any album

I want to make catagories in the download manager,,but all i have to do make folders

but i want something like,,
A | B |.....|z

Whenever ppl will click like A then there will be another item of ARTISTS name a to Z and they can click on any artist they want,,,and select the album the artist did
So that people can find artist by name and album

If you guys understand what did i say,,,pls recommend me something for that

Exactly, you can turn off the TP download system and search for download system mods for SMF. There are a few...

All you need to do is make Categories. You do not have to have seperate folders for each category, the download manager manages the files for the categories.

As it stands now, a custom call would need to be made and a separate subtemplate as well to show items alphabetically.

Though interesting idea, might be worth a closer look or two.

If this was made here on TP.net for example, one could easily search for "Helios" by just browsing to H. Inside "H" one could also sort the "H" items by is category - or just list them of course in addition to names.
