These errors are appearing in the Forum Error Log on every click

But theyÃÆ'ââ,¬Å¡ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢re still happening.

Is anyone else having these errors? Or has anyone found a fix?

Found a stuff-up I'd made that seems to be the culprit.  ::)

I had manually modded an earlier version of index.template.php with the mods listed in tinyportal07_11.mod.

Looking in the new index.template.php that came with the latest Mercury for 1.05/1.1 (4th August), it already has the TP mods done.

When I use the latest index.template.php without any mods, the error doesn't seem to occur. Another error has appeared in the logs but it doesn't seem to be as frequent. I'll check that out some more before posting again.

Yes, the "tportal" error has been fixed in all themes.

Let me know what you find.

zuma

Well, this could be something I've done again, but it's occurring each time I view a post - although there's only two posts in the test site  :)

8: Undefined index: topbottomEnable
File: /home/httpd/vhosts/my_domain.com/httpdocs/test4/Themes/mercury11_tp/TPortalBlocks.template.php (eval?)

On a second test site (also a fresh install of TP and latest Mercury) with data imported into the SMF tables from a working site, I get the same error as above on very read of a post, plus one of these errors ....

8: Undefined variable: user_info
File: /home/httpd/vhosts/my_domain.com/httpdocs/test3/Themes/mercury11_tp/TPortalBlocks.template.php (eval?)
Line: 493

... for every member in the topic. So if there's 7 members in the topic, there'll be seven of these errors.

Again, could be something I've done.

ps I used the mods in this file - tinyportal07_11.mod - to mod load.php and index.php. Could that have something to do with it?

Bjørn

No, they should be fine. The "user_info" error and "topbottomEnabe" is most likely strings missing. I have to check more on this.

zuma

I wonder whether I have the database tables set up correctly. This is the tportal_settings table - does it look correct?

This error...

8: Undefined index: topbottomEnable
File: /home/httpd/vhosts/my_domain.com/httpdocs/test4/Themes/mercury11_tp/TPortalBlocks.template.php (eval?)
Line: 533

... also happens in an installation of SMF 1.1 b3 with Mercury (theme only) - ie no TP.
