News From Forum

For some reason, it won't grab the news from the selected forum.

I select "Only forum" and it displays "There are no articles in this section yet."

Yes, and I have tried changing it.

Any news on how to fix this yet?

If it helps, I think it might have something to do with the SQL databases.

I recently re-installed SMF and TP, it worked fine with the fresh install but after I restored the old databases it returned to its non-working state.

It would be really helpful if you could figure this out, I've been having to write articles for all the news updates.

Does the forum allow guests to see it?

Yes, guests can view TP and certain boards.

I just changed that, but it still doesn't work.

EDIT: Well, I feel stupid. I kept messing with the permissions and I totally forgot about the viewable option in Manage Boards...

It works now, thanks a lot.
