I was just talking smack about this site (good smack Bloc) and then Im all 'wtf your free hosting forums'?? I know where this might come in handy.

I'll be more specific. www.artichost.net aren't free, but they are very reliable. they aren't a "forum" host, but just a general host. php, mysql, ftp, email, probably more databases etc. Aparently very cheap for euros, but I'm not sure what it is with currency exchanges.

hm..that one seems like a choice for me in fact..

I now pay $12 USD a month for 5gb transfer, 500mb space, 1 mysql database. But artichost seem to offer 20gb transfer for just 4 euro - or rougly $5 a month, and with added 1gb space+2 mysql db. In fact I need to upgrade soon, since my transfer is now over 5 gb, so I would in fact be paying $20 a month for half the traffic of artichost - with same amount of space/db.

I might try these out.

btw 1 euro is $1.2 USD.

We have our site hosted for free...members of our game clan are professionals so we have spent hardly any cash on this, except buying a domain.

Yeah Im all about the usd, no fun trying to convert the monies, did that on trip to London early June and Im all 'okay, heres my money, I dont care if you rip me off, Im on vacation' Bloc, let us know how the ones you test out are.
