Do you ever have problems installing SMF? Just TP? I think this is something Bloc should take a look at, although I don't really know if much can be done about it. I'm not good with bugs and all. I'm more of a trail & error kinda guy.

No, never had a problem installing smf
as a matter of fact I reinstalled smf at least 4 times
it worked no problem everytime, it was just TP that wigged out on me.

If bloc wants to look into it, I'll set up an account for him on both my servers so he can log into them and do an install and see what happens. since it seems to happen everytime I install TP it would be a good place to check it out from.
