How Can I Use Html Code In The Articles ?  :idiot2:

IchBin

I haven't even really messed with HTML in an article yet, but as far as I am aware you just add the code like you would a regular html page.

More or less, don't use the <html> or <body> tags. Articles will pick up the styles from the theme style.css if you tell them to.

I'm able to embed HTML in article code ... but only in the "intro text" section.

I'm guessing the intro is text only so the html is seen and that the article (what follows the "read more ...") is rich text and the html is not seen ... but this is only a guess.

Is there another way to get html code into an article?

WizardHawk

at the bottom of the WYSIWYG editor is a button that says 'toggle view' click that and put your code in. This allows you to put images or other html into your articles. Toggle back to work with the text.

you can also turn off the wyiwyg editor quickly by going to general settings.Tahtw ay it won't show at all, leaving you with a just the input area to type in html code.

Thanks for both tips - I got it working.
The flexibility is great once you get used to it.
