As I understand it, TP will give me a "front end" for my SMF forum.

I've seen TP working and someone even kindly gave me acccess to see how to change it.

What I'm curious about is if it will support a file manager of some sort.

I want to have files available for people to download from my site and I want to be able to upload them along with a description.

I have a working code segment in php working on my site now, but its tough to modify and I was hoping TP had something already.

Can TP do this?

Take a look here and you will see a download manager AKA file manager. Which is scheduled to be released in Blocs next update.
