Porky

which database table has all the posts in it. I am trying to restore from a bo bo?

JPDeni

The posts are in smf_messages. (Assuming you are using smf_ as your table prefix.)

Porky

is there a way to merge 2 tables?

IchBin

not really, because you may have posts with duplicate ID's. The best you could do "simply", is to restore your messages replacing anything that is there. I'm sure it could be done to merge them, but its beyond me. :)

yeah I gave up the last save I did was Dec 9th and I ran the delete old post that have not been touch in 30 days, but I had auto archive post that have been deleted but it didn't archive so I lost about 400 posts. It sucks......I could restore the other database but I would loose members so I will have to make due and back up more often
