I want to use a HTML + BBC Block to display external links on my portal page. The links are just plain link tags with a
 added as linefeed, like:

<a href="http://www.eq2players.com">EQ2Players</a><br />

The problem is, that all </br> are doubled during rendring. Is this a feature of the HTML-BBC block? Where can I change this?

Try adding your links without using any of the editors, and you could try the BBC [ br ] - it's same thing really.
I have become comfortably numb!

Solved my problem now. It seems when I make a newline in the input field, it is converted to a \<br/\> (even when no editor is active). So when I write all in one line, it works.
