Hi all,

I keep getting this error, its filing up my error log for every page someone visits 

8: Undefined index: smileys_enabled
File: /customers/problempcs.co.uk/problempcs.co.uk/httpd.www/Sources/TPmodules.php
Line: 1758

Have you searched the forum here for that error? I know its been covered already. I just don't remember the fix.

I had this error and now its fixed

you need to  source/edit tpmodules.php

line 1758

change from smileys_enabled to smileysenabled

basically just delete the underscore.

Just to give the full example. Find:

Code Select Expand

$row['body'] = parse_bbc($row['body'], $row['smileys_enabled']);

and change it to:

Code Select Expand

$row['body'] = parse_bbc($row['body'], $row['smileysEnabled']);

in the file mentioned above, Sources/TPmodules.php

But... i like to understand... so why we have this error and why we have to fix in this way?

It's an error in the code because people make mistakes when writing code (called bugs), this fix has been put in for the next beta release.
