remote upload

will there be a remote upload function for the download manager in the feature?

First of all, welcome to TinyPortal.

Why would remote uploading be useful here, in your opinion?  I can see no reason to have this, given that files in the download section of this site are not supposed to be hosted in other locations at this time.  However, if you feel that it would be something that you would like to see, you can place this request, with as much information as possible, into the bugtracker as a feature request and it will be looked at.  I can't guarantee that anything would come of it though.

In the meantime, I will move this topic to Feedback.

Well my webspace has 5gb space, i have to upload alot of files and it will make this space full in no time, i got a own ftp server to so i will link the downloads on my site to the ftp server.

You could do this already but not thru the downloads. You could make forum boards for different categories and then put links into the forum threads that link to your files on the FTP.  Lots more work but would suffice for a work around.

ok, but will it ever be avaible in tinyportal?

I have no idea. You can request it thru the Bugtracker as a feature. Not sure if it will get much support.

Bloc have said that outside linking to files will be possible at some time in the development, but cant say when or even what version.
Will probably not show or be until he have made the module handling for TP 100%
