Time to be BRAVE

Well, as i`m bored today, i think it`s time to be brave. I`ve backed up from smf and from my c-panel. Now i think i`ll try RC2   

One question though. Will RC2 overwrite everything inc TP? I need to know this as i can`t remove any mods, due to a balls up in updating to smf 1.0.6. If it all overwritten i`ll go for it.


PS i`m not too worried about any other mods i have.

Well the upgrade went ok i think but i have this on the bottom of my screen now

Fatal error: Call to undefined function tportal_version() in /home/hamburg/public_html/SMF/Sources/Load.php(1607) : eval()'d code on line 409

Should i just download the latest version of TP and upload it?

Tried uploading 8.6 and now get this

Did you install via package manager? were all the "tests" prior to install successful?

After manual install - Run TP_zip via package manager..Again.

Yeah i think so. I`m just running through it now. To be honest manual seemed easier than i thought. just unzipped and threw the whole folder at my ftp straight into the root.

I always like manual better, "if" package zip errors 1st.

Nope, well at least i didn`t. And it seems to have worked ok.
