Shoutbox messing up...

My site www.corbinzworld.com has TP installed and I added a shoutbox well everytime anyone tries to post it says


An Error Has Occurred!
Your session timed out while posting. Please go back and try again.

Admin > Server Settings > Forum URL (add www to your URL).

Eather you have to provide us with a temp account so we can log in and see the shoutbox, or change the settings for it so guests can view the shoutbox.

You probably have a script placed in some other block that is causing your errors.
What block or article did you add when the shoutbox started to behave badly ?

It's exactly what IchBin say, you have www.yoursite.com as primary, and for some reason, your shoutbox is calling for http://yoursite.com

You need to add the www in the settinsg file to get rid of the error.

what you can do is to download the repair_settings.php file from simplemachines.org and upload it to your forum root, point the browser to the file and click on ALL blue lines to correct the settings to the proper values.

The file will be found in the tool section http://www.simplemachines.org/download/?tools

Yes, becasue your urls is wrong.

Make sure the settings.php in the forum root is set to 777 when you use the repair_settings.php

The only way the repair_settings.php can repair the settings in your forums settings.php is if the settings.php has the correct permissions so it can be changed.   Go in and change your forums settings.php via ftp and then run the repair_settings.php
