Ray,

I sent this message to G6. He ask me to consult with you. Please help.

The only one remaining issue for my SMF run is to set up vsftp in Fedora C6 so that all ftp related will be resolved.

Sent to me ??? i havent recieved any message, and nor have i replied to it exept that you could ask IchBin, Ray or Thurnok as i think they are the only one in the team that could give some replies to you.
Also i think IchBin did reply in that thread.

not 100% sure on fedora 6, but on most distro's vsftp is anonymous only by default.

modify /etc/vsftpd.conf: enable local_enable and write_enable and then restart the daemon (/etc/init.d/vsftpd restart - or reboot).

you might have to change the default umask as well - not sure what smf needs.

I use proftp on suse but this site is what I used to learn from
