Anyone tried it yet? Does it have any problems with TinyPortal v0.9.8? Just wana make sure before I update mine. Thanks.

I upgraded by clicking the link in the admin panel without any problems. This way will only work if you're not skipping any versions though. If you're skipping versions you'll have to upload the large upgrade package.

No issues to report with 0.9.8 here. Installed within seconds; described as a security-fix.

Yep updated fine.
Then I deleted my whole site and installed a fresh copy lol
It is then that I found a few errors.
Nothing serious, but it is there.

Having problems with TP and smf 1.1.7. Can't get TP to work anymore. Trying to find a solution though.

Downloaded 1.06 Beta 2, and although it gave an error on the default template, it still works.

Used the upgrade function, because the update didn't work either. but... see above. It works now

I didnt had any problems with update to 1.1.7 with TP 1.0.6 beta 2

Was able to upgrade easy enough and everything works fine when logged in as admin.  When logging in as any other membergroup however, the icons for the menu buttons all disappear.  This same issue shows up in all different themes excluding the SMF default theme.  Any suggestions on what I need to do to correct this issue?

my apologies, I HAD read the posting guidelines, and rules for this forum and thought I had posted to the correct thread.  Rather than start a new thread on an issue that was already started I guess I misunderstood that this thread was for something OTHER than issues with 1.1.7.

SMF 1.1.7 and TP 0.98 works ok here !

smf 117 TPs / 098 / 106 upgrade via package manger no problems this way for me.

Manually made  the filechanges to 3 sites and works just fine  :up:

First try via FF3 on site 1 was a disaster .. no clue what went wrong. Error on upgrade attempt. Site kept running on 1.16 (and 0.908)
First try via FF3 on site 2 was instant success.

Weird? same host, same configuration, just different community. FF3 keopt acting weird on site 1 (one mistake by filling 1 wrong ftp-info).

Then IE7: first try on site 1, instant succes!

Cleared buffers FF3 and all is well. Both site 1 and 2 are running like a charm.
