TP Uninstall..

Hi ho! -..

im trying to uninstall my TP. Put the package manager won't uninstall it. So i figure i maybe have to do it manually.

this is the error i get...
1. Execute Modification ./index.php Test failed
2. Execute Modification ./Sources/Load.php Test successful
3. Execute Modification ./Themes/default/index.template.php Test successful
4. Execute Modification ./Themes/babylon/index.template.php Test successful
5. Execute Modification ./Sources/Subs.php Test failed
6. Execute Modification ./Sources/ManagePermissions.php Test successful
7. Execute Modification ./Sources/Security.php Test failed


I need to uninstall, to install it again... i think i did something stupid when trying to install chat....

If you look at this install note you can see what strings you need to remove manually. And in what files to locate them

But i think you can just install TP over the old one, and it will find the files and update them if they are wrong or missing.

hi... thanks... I got rid off it! ..

And installed it again. BUT.. Install went well, no problems it said...

And when i enter the admin panel for TP and do all my adjustments all is well, but when i refresh page and want to look at it.. nothing has happend! ...

What could be wrong?

I have also installed that streamin mod. But that should have nothing to do with it...

SMF 1.1RC2 is the board...

if you have a backup, try to take the settings.php files from it and replace them in the forum root dir. It may be that when you redid the install they got changed

thats the thing you see... no backup! 

i know i know... stupid..

Please, could you tell exactly how to un install TP from 1.1 RC2-1?
I have to open the manual installation file and do everything in order from the last to first?

If you do it from your adminpanel first and see what files the uninstaller gives errors on, write those files down, and then edit those files manualy when you have done the uninstall from the manager.

I had the source files and index.template.php on my uninstall that gave error, And i used the install guide and looked in there and saw what code to remove from the files i got the errors from during the uninstall.
I went in and removed the code and it was good to go
