I was experiencing some timeout issues in the DM Module while uploading files, so I ended up with the same file multiple times. I have looked around, and must be missing something. How can I remove files once they are posted to the site?

Thanks

G6Cad

You have to remove them manually from the tp-downloads folder through FTP or Cpanel

I haven't logged into my server since I installed this..  so this is a folder I presume for the files?

Do I need to edit tables to delete the info associated with the files themselves?

Thanks again!

Just edit the download you have (delete) and the visible folder (download link) will be gone, then log in to your forum and look for the tp-downloads folder, and look for the file in there and remove it :), If the file is missing in the folder, the download manager removed the file from the folder (unsure if it does though) but checking is the best way to know

Wow! I totally overlooked the "download" checkbox in the 'edit' section. Thanks Much!
