How to delete "TinyPortal © 2005-2012"

After avoiding two SMF updates because I didn't want to lose use of Tiny Portal I finally upgraded to SMF 2.0.10. I couldn't get Tiny Portal 1.0 to work so I installed Simple Portal.

My question:

At the bottom of the page http://www.bigislandforum.org/forums/index.php it lists:

I've uninstalled all that I'm aware of but don't know where to delete whatever file displays "TinyPortal © 2005-2012"

The copyright is part of a SMF hook, which gets run from the database. If you uninstalled TP this should have been removed. Couple of things you probably need to do. Clean out your sources directory of the TP files. Removing these will remove the code that is called from the hook, which should remove the copyright notice. Also, you should remove the hooks in the database. Been a long time since I looked at this, but I believe the hooks are in the smf_settings table. Look for hooks with these names, and remove them.
