First the easy one. It seems like I am seeing more and more crazy characters (letters not people) on the board...kinda like the Greek alphabet.

And secondly, I thought for sure there was a board on here at some point that was people looking for freelance work or coders for pay...I am just getting old, or was there a board like that?

And if there isn't a board like that...which board (if any can be used).

No board of that kind have been here on TP, one or two posts where other members have asked for help yes, but nothing we have asked for in any way.

Your first question will have to be explained a lot more, where in the board ? Members names or just some text in the posts or

Is it the little question mark that shows up when you make your board Utf-8 or Utf-16 and you put a character in there that's not compatible with that character set? If that is what it is, then things like...

...in your html code. Sometimes it is necessary to use SMF's built-in "Convert HTML-entities to UTF-8 characters" to make it so that forum messages also show up correctly.

That's all I can be guessing it is. If one of the "weird symbols" coming up is the triangle with a question mark in it, then that's your problem.

As for the 2nd question...I need something coded that has to do with SMF Gallery (ssi code), and I will pay for the code. Most of it is done (I think) ..but I don't want to post in the wrong board. I will edit this post and take this part out as soon as you answer (or scold me)

Here is the scold     the arcade code have it's own support forum, you will probably get the best support for their code on their won site.
We dont know that code they are using therefore we do not support it eather

Probably the same answer, but I was referring to the SMF Gallery (photo gallery) ssi code. SMFHacks has been pretty busy and I was wanting a feature through ssi. I was hoping for someone that knew or used SMF Gallery to help me.

Again, I will edit these posts out.
