I sure am glad you modified the subject for the [block] xml notification, because I was seriously considering writing a similar utility myself.

However, I am sure your code will suffice for my purposes. And save me some time.

hehe.. yea, some of these older blocks tend to get lost in the fray of the numerous posts here at TP.  And those not manually indexed in the Block Index post may never be seen by most of the members.  The new indexing feature should help there.
