Cannot install TP

If your host is really nice, they'll just add your user account to the apache group so that you can edit the files without having to change ownership. Thats how I solved my issue on my server.... but I also own my linux box too.

hello', Iv'e just set a new and fresh installation of SMF 1.1RC3, used package manager to upload tinyportal 0.8.6, made the temp folder into the package folder and set all the folders at 777 applied mod and...got this error message now

The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

TP for RC3 is not yet supported. You must wait until 0.95 is released which is very close. However, there are some posts in here that explain what to do. I think if you'd have searched you would know that.
