TP editor (FCKeditor) encoding?

When writing an article in TP editor (FCKeditor) everything displays OK. See example (in Greek). See example:

Εδώ βρίσκεÏ,,αι Ï,,ο αρχείο Ï,,ηÏ, παλαιάÏ, Gallery Ï,,οÏ... In Nomine. Î"ια ισÏ,,ορικούÏ, και άλλοÏ...Ï, λόγοÏ...Ï, παραμένει ζωνÏ,,ανή αλλά χωρίÏ, Ï,,ην δÏ...ναÏ,,ÏŒÏ,,ηÏ,,α προσθήκηÏ, φωÏ,,ογραφιών. Η νεόÏ,,ερη και πιο εξελιγμένη Ï,,εχνικά ΦΩΤΟ Gallery έχει αναλάβει αÏ...Ï,,όν Ï,,ον δύσκολο ρόλο πλέον...

But when I am switching to Source everything looks distorted and ...chinese. See example:

ΕδÏŽ βρίσκεται το αρχείο της παλαιάς Gallery του In Nomine. Για ιστορικούς και άλλους λÏŒγους παραμένει ζωντανή αλλά χωρίς την δυνατÏŒτητα προσθήκης φωτογραφιÏŽν. Η νεÏŒτερη και πιο εξελιγμένη τεχνικ

When I am editing an article the characters are distorted but they are keep showing ok in the front end...

I am using TP 0.9.8, in 1.1.7 SMF with utf-8 in SMF...


Any ideas?

The FCKeditor is transforming the charachters to a "safe" word, thats what you see there. It will still render as normal greek charachters in the article.

Dont think it can work, you have to ask the fckeditor creators on their homepage as the functions within the editor is their work.
TP just use the fckpackage as a built in option to tp

You have to setup in the FCKeditor config:

Code Select Expand

FCKConfig.ProcessHTMLEntities = true ;
FCKConfig.IncludeLatinEntities = false ;
FCKConfig.IncludeGreekEntities = false ;

FCKConfig.ProcessNumericEntities = false ;

Then your inputs shown on sourcecode as:
