Unable to upload using Download Manager

While trying to upload a file in in the Download Manager of Tinyportal v0.8.6  I get the following error everytime i try to do an upload:

Database Error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query
File: /xxxx/xxx/xxxx/AAOU-forum/Sources/Load.php
Line: 1886

Did I forget to configure something on the original install (like some db fields?).  Is this a known issue??

Any advice would be helpful and greatly appreiciated.

I have not seen this error at all. Not sure if it is TP or Server related. By the error I think it's server related, but I'll let Bloc weigh in on this because I'm sure he has more of an idea.

no, this is server/mysql issue it would seem. Losing the database connection is not something normally triggered by SMF or TP. I would check that it doesn't happen anywhere else - and if it doesn't, check that all TP tables are intact, and TP files are up to date. You can use the manual_install files for that.
