What Color is the Universe?

Did you ever wonder what the average color of the universe is?  I would guess that for most people the answer is probably "No".

Astronomy is one of my hobbies, so to speak, and one of the sites that I keep an eye on most of the time is the "Astonomy Picture of the Day", located here --> http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html and today's picture looked kind of strange until I actually looked at the site and there was a link at the bottom that took me to a wikipedia page at this url --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmic_latte

I have an RSS feed in the right panel on my TP 1.0 beta 5 test site (http://talesofthehavenexpanse.com/smf2test/index.php) that shows me the pictures from the last 7 days, and it allows me to keep track of the pictures, especially if I miss looking at one of them for a day or two.  Anyway, with all that being said, the average color of the universe is "Cosmic Latte" which is a newly named color ...

I was more into astronomy a few years back really..but this is fascinating stuff.

Watched recently a few NG movies about the universe and solar systems/stars, and discovered theres a lot new info available now(for me lol).

Kind of a lighter color than I would have thought , figured maybe a black, or a dark blue  .. but that's almost a beige color..
