Custom icons for internal menu items?

So I'm really liking the ability to add custom menu items to the built-in SMF menu. I've added a few items to meet my needs. However, each has the same generic menu icon next to it. Is there a facility to customize this icon so each can be appropriate and different? I poked around in the settings but couldn't find anything, and a search on the forums here didn't turn up any discussion.

Nope, that is not available . Unfortunately it is not easy to add, or it would have been included already...
