Hello,

After i installed i did some manual changes on some php  files after the following tutorial, since i have a bunch of mods installed.
http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=14195

TinyPortal works good so far, only the Forum Stats and Users Online at the bottom in the forum are messed up no how you can see here
http://eternal.pytalhost.com/index.php?action=forum

So i disabled the panels when visiting te Forum, the panels disappeared in Forum after but the stats at the bottom are still messed up, so i tried and played with the TP settings, also like disabling the panels in general. But nothing did work and at the moment i dont know what i could try to fix this problem, would be glad if soemone could help with this issue.

SMF 1.1.8

This problem doesn't appear in the SMF default core theme

IchBin

Yeah, would be a theme issue then. I don't know that theme, or even have the files. You should probably ask the theme author to help you figure out the problem.

I've just had a quick look, and it's because of the way tables have been used.

A quick fix is to find the code that generates the first <tr> tag, which is used to contain the entire forum display, and add into the tag colspan="2" (I'm guessing it'll probably be in forumdisplay.template.php)
It's not an ideal fix, but it'll work (I just tried it in firefox/firebug)

Dj4ngo

Thank you both for the answers,

@mc: i tried to add this colspan in different php files of this theme to be sure i hit the right one, but the problem still seems to appear.
The php file which includes the codes for "info center" etc. is in "BoardIndexTemplate.php".
i attached the whole theme tho. if its usefull.

Dj4ngo,

The file you attached in your previous post is not the correct file for the theme.  I don't know where you got it but it downloads as 580 kb and has 3 extra files.  The correct file (185 kb) is located here ...
http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item1014

I suggest that you download this one instead.  I have installed it to one of my test sites and temporarily turned off the left and right panel in the Forum so that you can see that it works fine.  The link is here if you want to see it.  The panels will be turned back on after you have responded ...

If this is the file that you are using, then it's obvious that the changes you made are what caused the problem.

Oh, I see why this probably happened.  The link in your original post to the post by Bloc details the changes needed fot the theme to work with TinyPortal 0.98.  Since you use TP 1.0 beta 4, this would be the wrong edits to make.  I suggest that you do as I suggested in my post above.

Hello and thanks for all the help

Well this Template i installed since a long time and it was a template for SMF itself, not the one for tinyportal (dont know if there is a difference , or 2 versions of this theme) well i modified the theme to display a shoutbox, change colors a bit and add some different looking buttons. THe thing is i would like to keep it and i think that many modifications could be gone if i use a fresh installed theme of it.
The extra files i think are for the mods i guess.

i updated the forum to 1.1.11 today btw, if this info is ned.

you mean else i should install this mod on a fresh theme and after i start to modify (design/mods) again?

ZarPrime

Themes that were used on Forums with TP version 0.98 installed required edits to make them work properly.  Once, TP 1.x came out, these edits were no longer required.  That's all I can tell you.  We support TinyPortal here.  I have no idea what you are referring to when you talk about "modifications".  In other words, are you speaking of SMF Mods, or are you talking about modifications (edits) that you made to your custom theme to make it work with a previous version of TinyPortal.  If you are talking about SMF Mods, then you will just have to use the new download I linked and make the manual modifications to make the theme work with your other SMF Mods.
