but since u asked: there is a menu item called "radio" in your admin panel - thats where u add stations using shoutcase.com

strange got the code in akulion and installed the radio mod but when I go to play a popup appears saying
"you do NOT have permission to listen to radio"

lol u will have to set the permissions for the membergroups in your admin panel to enable the radio for all groups

but if ur accessing as an Admin - that should be a problem

Hmmm...got it working. To bad I cant just choose my real radio stations to which I can listen on the radio. Only streams from people.... to bad

u can choose many radio stations

go to shoutcast.com

click on the TUNE IN button in front of the radio station u want..it will prompt you for a file to open or save - SAVE that file

Open the file in Notepad and inside you will see a server address and a port number like so:

http://123.123.123:8000 (example)

copy the address into ur radio configuration (under admin panel in SMF) and the port number is always the number following the : (in this case is 8000)

then set the name for ur station and ur done

its the most powerful radio mod ive seen so far :up:

I know... But it aint FM radio stations which i meant

have set permissons, but as administrator etc it still won't let me listen!

if the station has a live server broadcasting radio - then u can visit its homepage and get its details from there and add it

grabman are u sure ur radio is ACTIVE ? check in the radio panel..there is a setting to Activate / deactivate it as well

dont know about those formats..maybe u could email the stations and ask them some details explaining u need server IP and Port number to be able to stream
