How do i make it so that Return to this Topic is turned on by default for all users ? and also The notify me of replies.. just like it is here on TP ?

Been searching high and low but cant find anything  :P

Go to Admin > Configuration: Themes and Settings > Reset Options

You'll have to go through each theme individually and select

Reset all members' current options for this theme

Select the options that you want to change.

You might mention that you changed it so that those members who have other preferences will know to change it back.

knat

Okey i was afraid you would say this LoL

Do i get to this point

SMF Default Theme - Core

Reset default (guest) options for this theme (0 options currently set.)
Reset all member's current options for this theme
Remove all member's options and use the defaults (22 members currently using their own options.)

What do i select.. i dont want to reset any other options than the ones mentioned above  ::)  ???

JPDeni

As I said, select

Reset all members' current options for this theme

You'll get another page where you can select which options to reset.

It's really a good idea, if you can, to have a test site with SMF, TP and all of your mods on it. That way you can explore all of the options without risking messing up your live site. If you mess up your test site, you can just reinstall it.

Thanks, i didn't know it worked like that.. nice to know in the future..

About the test forum.. i totaly agree.. but i guess its a little to late for me because of all the modifications i did on my site.

Anyway thanks for the help  :)

JPDeni

It's never to late to do a test site. Start one up today. Install a new one. Install the modification packages. Copy over the files that you've modified. You'll have yourself a nice little shadow site to play with.
