I'm trying to get tinyportal to act more like a cms with regards to be able to create pages stored in mysql, almost exactly how the articles done, but for actual content pages, not news.

I'm trying to write it myself, but I'm finding it hard to see where to do the coding, if someone could point me to the particular files, and whats needs to be done, I would appreciate it.

"but for actual content pages, not news."
who says you have to write news?

kutar

well, because I'm using articles for news, and I want content pages as a separate module, I know it sounds like I'm being difficult, but I like things a certain way :D

lebisol

no I get it....look throuhg my 1st posts lol...I just want to make sure ur not making more work for yourself than needed.
Then the best bet is trying "custom pages" mod/snip if you want this separation.

Also to experiment and get more ideas look at the snippets index:
