I have posted this in the German section but i didn't get any answer until now, may be anyone from here can help me.
i have installed the gallery from http://www.smfhacks.com/smf-gallery.php (lite version). this is working fine but i want the photos to be displayed at a specific size, i.e 800x600. in the admin section you can choose the size of the uploadable photos but I don't want to change here. users should be able to upload photos with 1600x1200 pixel but the gallery should display it always in 800x600 for better integration in our TP site. i have no experience in php so i don't know where to make any changes

bye

If you havent toticed this is TinyPortal, and not SMFHacks site ;)

Although, if you do a little search, there are some threads about the gallery in here some where :)

And if you get stuck even after you have followed the threads, it's adviced you seek help from the mod author and let him help you get it to work the way you want.

well, what does "Feel free to talk about anything and everything in this board." mean for you? if you are not able to help me, then don't spam in this topic. this is a forum, and may be another user had the same problem with a solution

Lesmond

Be nice to G6, as she says this IS Tinyportal not SMFHacks and she is not spamming this topic, if you try a search you might have some luck

IchBin

Inferno, she wasn't spamming the topic at all. She was simply stating that we DO NOT support other mods here. While you may think it's ok to put support in Chit Chat, it is not OK. Chit Chat is for talking about our daily lives and having fun, not for coding and modding questions. It is a standard reply for us to tell you to get support from the people that create the mod. Take no offense to it, but its better if you ask this in the support boards.

Inferno

well then we can close this topic here...

Inferno, each forum has its very own rules. I can really accept making a slight mistake posting here for support on a mod irelevant to TP cause you didn't know how it goes. As far as i can see, you, getting a helpful response about what to do further is sth to be thankful about. Most forums would have just ignored your post if it was irelevant to their content and subject. At least, you got some replies here. So it isn't fair to offend anyone about this.

Now, the best thing you can do is request assistance on SMFhacks site. Do a little search here too, you may find something interesting.

No offence at all friend for this post.

ok everyone lets call it a day and think of it like this:

a guy walked into a Cd store and asked "where are the mens garments section please?"

lol

it happens to everyone sometime or the other
