Hi!
I just wonder if there should be any smilies available in the WYSIWYG article text editor...? The smiley codes does not work either, as it seems...?

[And, btw, image viewing/uploading that is mentioned in the Roadmap - wow, that would be great ... If this is done properly, as I have come to know things use to be with SMF anyway, this would be quite impressive! I have experiences of some cms systems (Mambo, Joomla, MD-Pro, MkPortal etc) and none of these have a nice solution to this. I already think the editor in TP is better that those anyway (wow, what a quick loading e.g.!) but I guess the dev have some higher ambitions :P?! Keep up the good work, this is gonna be great!]

[EDIT: Well, I simply have to add that you'll win the gold in my heart if a temporary save was introduced in that editor as well! And I would like an Edit and Delete link added to each article so I'm as admin or trusted author may change/delete an article right away as I see it rather than entering the TPadmin page first... :coolsmiley:]

edit/delete button in articles and editing your own , are coming up. :) If it will be in 0.8 or 0.9 I am not sure though.

About smilies...I am a bit torn between supplying a own smilies setup for the editor - or using SMF own. It would be ncie to simply use the shortcuts as well..but that means parsing the smiley generator code in each article - it could break carefully constructed html articles, and not work at all in php articles. But using the smilies as regular images should work alright.

And..the editor is replaced in TP0.8 ;) The new does have a improved browser for images though, which can be used outside the editor as well( for regualr textfield), but that is not in yet: needs more work on permission among other things.
