talking complicated joomla made me crazy

not once
not twice
but 3 times!!!

By far with complete honesty I can say the 2 MOST easy to use systems I have used in my limited experience are:

- Mkportal
- TP

mkportal has problems cos of its rigid theme system and hard to add modules (for some reason they stopped using installers lol)
and also their development has come to a complete stop best to my knowledge

but TP...the future is bright :D

I used it for about a year when I first started with CMS/Portals. It seemed the more I played with it, the slower it became.... Not to mention the updates that are constantly fixing things...

Like Ichbin said, the more it was used, the slower it became. Also the module system they had going for it was messy.

PhpNuke was and still is a popular CMS.  It's not that difficult once you take the time to learn it.  It's main problem is with updates.  It is still a pretty nice system, though I prefer Mambo/Joomla for ease of use.
