New CMS

Actually this may not be the right place for this. Any way here it is.
I am working on a New CMS which is going on well so far. I'm looking for some Volunteers, who can join me in doing this.
from my experience i say that it is so much fun designing a CMS ourself.

what exactly do you mean by "new cms"? something to use instead of mambo? and what exactly would its goals/features be - IE there is no point if it is going to be the same as any other cms out there...

Yes it'll be a CMS. But i'll have some more features which the others don't have.

I didn't say this'll be an alternative to Tinyportal. Just starting up this CMS. I don't think i'll be working on SMF integration so soon.

I personally dont see the point... I used to use mambo and ipb, then changed to mambo smf...

since then I found TP, and blew mambo away for good.

dont get me wrong, mambo is good... but its just too complex sometimes. at least with TP you have the ability to do a portal style site, have a nice looking front page, and you can do it all from the forums without having to do html coding in a seperate cms.

I do have the time, and the know-how is building... but I would rather put my time into doing some important modules and blocks for TP - or if not important, ones that I need/want

I fully believe that TP/SMF solution is perfect for my site now at 200 members, and I feel that it will still be the right solution if I had 200 000 members. (well I hope so )

I am not saying this should be alternative to TP.
It'll be a CMS. A separate one.
I don't urge anyone to use this. This can be used for any website which doesn't need forum or complex admin panel.
