Installed the TP portal but nothing in the Admin panel

Hello I am new and moving over from the phpBB2 script.

I am on the latest version of SMF and TP.  I done the manual install and got this

Upshrink table created
Settings table created
Blocks table created.
some sample values were added to the blocks table
Variables table created.
Articles table created.
DL manager table created
TinyPortalÂÃ,´s table structure is now installed/updated.

But there is nothing in the admin panel regarding the TP, I even installed the neptune theme.  I thought there would be some admin function for me to add blocks??

Any help on this?

If I do it via the package manager I get this

Also make sure you are in the default theme when installing it makes things a little easier. One thing you might not know is that you have to use a theme that is converted to work with TP if you're not on the default or babylon theme. There are different versions on every theme around here. One for SMF only, and one for SMF/TP.

blink I would suggest to transfer your PHPBB forum to SMF, without any mod first.  Keep your original PHPBB backup for safety reasons. Do multiple tests and check old boards, messages as well as SMF screens.

Apply any mod, including TP, only after you are sure that everything is transferred and works OK. Backup before applying.

I have installed cerbuis_tp but when I click tpadmin it throws me back to the index page.

Is this the same on smf default Theme?

It doesn't look to me like TP is installed. It's hard to tell though because you have made it so that we can't see the site without being logged in.

Cerbus Theme would have shown if Tp was installed I do believe?

Try running manual-install.php again, if theres no change -- try tp.zip again via package manager..

Open up FTP and make sure all files are there, and they are not 0Kb. If they are, over write them with files from the package.

I am going to delete the lot and start from scratch!
So I
1: Upload SMF files and install them
2: Upload via package manager the TP zip file and apply it
3: upload and install the beberius_tp theme

and all should be ok..........heres hoping!

There is no Divider.gif file there?

If it's not upload it from the TP package. If there is, it's possible that permissions are restricting you from accessing it.

I've got it in place now to test it.
