Creating a RSS block?

Hi

I searched on this question but didn't understand the few responses.

I'd quite like a block which has RSS feeds from selected sources. For example, it could display the rss news feed from the Guardian newspaper etc

Dare I say it MKPortal has this, though TP is much more elegant   

Just wondering if it possible to do & how, for a newbie like me.

I think this is an option that Bloc is considering. I haven't heard nor seen anyone who has a working one in TP.

Yes, RSS is planned. I am not sure when, since its other things to consider first though.

For anyone interested, I've been trying out a news feed CaRP prog http://www.geckotribe.com/rss/carp/

Not difficult to install on your host & works well in the phpbox of TP.

You need to use the CaRP formatting commands to make the output look nice.
