OK, I am trying to get the right panel blocks to be displayed on the  Frontpage, board index, and on the individual boards, 
Just NOT while Im in a thread... (because the videos get cut off depending on screen resolutions)...

So, under "ACTIONS" I selected: Frontpage & Board Index.
and under "BOARDS" I selected: Display on all Boards.

When Im in the Board Index, I see the the right blocks (because I selected Board Index), but when I click on a board, the blocks are not displayed...  even though I selected "Display on all boards",

I'm not sure what version of SMF and TP you are using but, assuming you are using SMF 1.0 beta 5-1 and SMF 2.0 RC3, I can confirm this behavior.  Please add this to the bugtracker and reference this topic.

In addition, if a block will show in a board, it will also show in a topic in that board.  I don't know of a way to keep this from happening so, it that is a problem, I suggest that you allow the panels to be collapsed for those people that need to collapse the right panel in order to see a video without scrolling because of a low screen resolution.

Thanks for adding it to the bugtracker. I see that Bloc has already fixed it for the next release.

As for putting the versions in your signature, don't be surprised if I ask for them the next time.  I hardly ever look at people's signatures.  Sometimes they are right but half the time they are talking about behavior in one version and testing another.  It's always best to just follow the posting guidelines.  I used to just have the template filled out and sitting in a tab in Notepad ++ so that I could just add it in to any post I made.

Just to add a small bit to this conversation:
Some members, me for one, turn off signatures in their profile. Sigs can be very distracting, especially so those with animations, so having information in a sig goes unseen by those of us who turn them off. 

yeah after i posted that I realized that sometimes someones signature might be outdated too. maybe they upgrade, but forget to update the signature.

Ill follow the guidelines from now on. I think ill copy ur idea and just keep it on teh side, ready to post.
