Missing TP admin menu

No Menu at All, not just missing text. All I have done is update to the latest SMF version. I'm using TP .983

All my mods and boxes are all working fine, just menu is missing. help please

Much better, although the theme author's copyright is still missing.  Thank you. The theme was a port for panic's theme to work with TP 0.98, and ported over by Crip, the author of many themes here on TinyPortal.  I will refer him to this topic and ask him to comment on his policy.

In any case, let's get back to your original post.  You say you don't see the menu.  Are you referring to the menu at the top with the Home button and the Forum button?  I see those when I go to the site.  If that's not what you are referring to, please be a little more specific.

I did convert Panic's Theme with permissoin , and the copyright is suppose to be in the Footer not in the Forum Linktree uptop like it is.

ok I moved the copyright to the footer, that should be it correct?

The menu I'm not seeing is the one for Tiny Portal in the admin, I'm not too familiar with TP but from what I gather there is supposed to be a menu to edit the blocks and so on.

Yeah, more than likely what Crip says, though there is usually a blank space where the TP menu goes if you are missing language strings.  Was the TP Admin menu there before you upgraded to SMF 1.1.11?  What is the default language for the Forum?  Try going to Admin/Configuration/Server Settings/ and changing "Default Forum Language" to English and see if it then shows up.

Edit:  OK, saw your response.  There might be more going on here than just missing language strings.  It's not English-utf8, right?  I think I will back off here and let you and Crip talk about this some more.  You guys LMK if you need me.

you dont have a TP Help Llnik on the [Help] ..... where did you get the Theme? Crip Board?

I did a search earlier and saw that the utf8 was an issue for a lot of people but in this install there is no option for utf8, only English.

I think this site is a couple of years old and I know at one time the menu had to be there to edit the blocks that are still visible in the portal home page.

I'm not sure where this template came from.

Sounds like you're missing some edits and stuff from the installation of TP. If I were you I'd run through the manual process and check to make sure all files have been uploaded, and all the SMF files have been edited. Here's the instructions for the edits that you can check.
